Goals can tend to make or break a month. For me at least. And if you’re anything like me, once one goal doesn’t get accomplished or starts falling behind, the rest of the goals get forgotten about as well.
Sometimes we completely overdo it and think we’re going to have an amazing month and give ourselves ALL.THE.GOALS!
With that being said, I didn’t set myself any real goals for July (besides using AchieveMint.)
I’ve also used so many different things over the years to track goals. I can never find exactly what I want to use, so I turned to my boyfriend, who is good at making nice things.
I gave him my lovely (read: “WTF is this?”) sketch of what I thought would work for tracking my goals.
He made me a simple goal sheet and I am SUPER excited to have it! August will be the first month that I’m using it and I’m hoping to have a lot of those boxes checked off come September 1st!
(8/4 update: I have changed my goal to 80 oz of water a day. Jumping to 125 was too much too fast.)
As you can see, I have a goal and it is a new bangle! For every box I have checked, I am putting $1.00 into a goal/savings account connected to my bank for said bangle
Also, it looks like I haven’t done a weigh in here for a while….so let’s make that happen, shall we?
This really does need to be a regular thing, especially since I am not counting calories right now.
Now that I’m focusing more on my binges and less on calories, I’m hoping that will help the mental side of this battle. I want to see how not watching calories (within reason of course) will work if I’m not bingeing.
