Most posts I have no idea how to begin, but with the way this week started..I’m truly lost. I’m sitting in a hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. And it wasn’t planned, but more on that in a bit.
My mom came over on Thursday to spend the day at Magic Kingdom with me so that I could keep my brain off of the accident.
For quite a few years I wouldn’t leave the house on January 31st because I was afraid it would happen all over again and I would get really bad anxiety even getting into the car on that day. The past couple of years have gotten better and honestly, the day out with my mom was an awesome way to not think about it and we had a great day.
Friday night we went out with some friends to ‘celebrate’ and enjoy friend time – dinner at The Wave in the Contemporary. I had a great time with Jeff, my parents, Jess, Jacobus, Cheryl and Todd!
When I got home I realized that I hadn’t taken any pictures, but that’s probably a good thing because that means I had a lot of fun, right? However, here’s my attempt at fashion (and don’t worry, the tights were removed before we left the house.)
Saturday involved card games and some movie watching.
And then the call..at 10PM Jeff got a call that he was needed for a meeting in Atlanta. The meeting was the next day at 12PM. After trying to figure some things out, we were up at 4AM to leave by 4:30AM. We made the 6 hour drive, checked into our hotel room (which is amazing and I’ll be doing a separate post on the nonsense that happened with booking a hotel at 4AM and the fact that this post already has to many pictures) and Jeff was out the door for his meeting.
We (read: I) lucked out because within walking distance (literally right outside the hotel front door) is a bunch of shops and places to eat. I went for a walk around there, but it was so cold and windy that I didn’t stay out for too long.
I was going to go see a movie but the movie theater wasn’t playing anything that looked remotely interesting to me, so I grabbed lunch and brought it back to the room.
From there, the rest of the day was a blur. I read and slept until Jeff got back and then we grabbed dinner and Jeff had a conference call from bed. (Superbowl, what Superbowl?)
That paper that he’s holding…that’s a set list for a certain famous artist that I would love to shout their name from the roof top…but I can’t
Woke up this morning to see this. (The time is my birthday! And no, my alarm was NOT set for that.)
It’s super cold out there! And now I have to get the room packed up and get myself ready before Jeff gets back from day two of meetings. And from there we find out if we’re staying another night or driving back to Orlando. Holy cow this has been a crazy couple of days!

Weekly goal check in time!
Steps: B
Food: C
I did pretty well staying within my calorie range on most days. There were a couple days I went over by 50 or less and one day I was under by 300, so that’s a wash for me. However, I still need more vegetables in my life. Seriously, that is lacking.

Down 1.4 pounds. Another loss. Woohoo!!

We had a great time until something better came along and we got kicked out of the house…lol.
Haha! You did not get kicked out! We let you sleep. And you even raided our fridge
Hey I even washed the dishes in your new pool!
